Restorative yoga uses gentle yoga asanas, breath techniques, and props to create ultimate relaxation. In addition to providing deep relaxation, restorative yoga works to heal the connective tissue in your body (fascia) through passive stretching. Restorative yoga is accesible to everyone, regardless of age, physical fitness, or past injuries.

Also known as insight, or mindfulness meditation, Vipassana is the practice of acting as an observer, or witness, to yourself. From your thoughts and emotions arising moment to moment, to the sensations of your body, such as breath and heartbeat. You will observe yourself in great detail and without judgement or expectation.
Root word: Yuj (Sanskrit)
Meaning: To yoke, to unite
The practice of uniting and drawing into harmony all parts of the self.
Hatha is a grounding and meditative yoga practice. Each asana is held for an extended period, challenging the physical and mental body. Between postures, yogis return to a neutral position. Hatha yoga is ideal for those looking for healing and meditation.
Rise & Shine
Vinyasa is the practice of linking breath to movement to create a seamless flow. Rather than tightening up or resisting challenging asanas and transitions, we breathe and flow through them. In this way yogis are able to create a moving meditation that is strong, graceful and invigorating.
Meditation is the ancient practice of centering the mind, finding inner wisdom, and connecting to one's source. Appearing in many different forms, and across many different cultures, from the chanting rituals of prehistory, to modern day relaxation and focus techniques, the benefits of meditation are indisputable. We'll focus on Vipassana or Insight Meditation and Metta or Loving Kindness Meditation. These techniques will aid you in finding peace with yourself and others through insight, forgiveness and acceptance.
From the moment of our birth, to the moment of our death, we breathe. Breath informs the subtext of our mental and emotional existence; when we're stressed, the breath becomes short and tight. When we are relaxed, the breath flows with ease. Through various breath techniques and patterns, yogis have learned how to calm, energize, and focus themselves from the inside out.
Metta, or loving kindness meditation, is the practice of accessing and directing the boundless ocean of pure love found within us. This technique will facilitate a cleansing of hateful or resentful energies you may still harbor, while enabling a deeper appreciation, understanding, and love of the self.
